ABOUT EILEEN RICHARDSON
Working and residing in Nova Scotia, Eileen Richardson is an ordained minister with two ordinations, one in Canada and one in the United States. Eileen Richardson has been in partnership with a missionary in Asia for over 20 years, and was previously appointed Head of Missions with a church that led trips in the region. In Asia, her missionary work involved teaching in local Bible Schools, working with medical clinics, relief efforts, and orphanage work. In addition, she personally founded a ministry that she ran for eight years. Besides her own personal missionary work, Eileen has also been involved with World Vision for over 30 years — in fact, the President of World Vision once stated that Eileen is an example of why the organization exists. Spirituality is a large focus of Eileen’s life. She was previously involved with Focus on the Family for several years, and even aided the organization in launching its magazine for single parents in the 1990’s. When she isn’t ministering or otherwise working with church efforts, Eileen Richardson also greatly enjoys photography and often gives photographic artwork as gifts. Eileen also enjoys skiing. She particularly enjoys skiing peaks like Whistler/Blackcomb, and Grouse Mountain in Newfoundland. She also appreciates the theatre — she was part of a nationally-recognized theatre during her teenage years. Riding horses, scuba diving, and cycling are also among Eileen’s other interests. Eileen Richardson is the former owner of a recording studio in Los Angeles that hosted many contemporary artists and acts as well as music legends and which accommodated several film projects. But her true passion lies in ministry and missionary aid, and in her ongoing work with World Vision. |
